Advantages of Playtech online casinos

Playtech, a Dutch company, emerged at the online gambling software market in 1999 and has become a screaming success since then.

All Playtech casinos have licenses.

What are the benefits of playing in casinos with Playtech software?

First, only respectable companies can afford Playtech software, because it is very expensive – up to several million dollars; much too expensive for petty gambling crooks.

Second, Playtech is not a company which just sells its software and forgets about it. Playtech signs license agreements and keeps a vigilant eye on its licensees’ activity. Should there be lots of complaints about some casino, its license will be revoked – such a casino will lose its money.

Third , licensed casinos can’t change their payoffs.

Fourth, Playtech regularly renews its certificate at world-famous firms, confirming that the algorithms used in its games ensure fair play. The independent International Association of Online Players does audit of the payoffs – they are more than 97.5% on the average.

Games. Their multiplicity is simply stunning. Table games, card games, different kinds of video poker, slot machines – the fabulous variety, more than 60 games in all. Some games even have live dealers!

Have a good time in any online casino you choose. We wish you good luck!

Empire Resorts must work fast if they are going to find enough people to fill all the employment positions at their new Resorts World Catskills property. The casino and entertainment property is set to open two weeks earlier than first projected, with the operator needing to fill any remaining positions before opening day.\r\n\r\nAs the owner of the $920 million New York property, Empire Resorts stated on Thursday that the resort style hotel and main casino will be ready for business by mid-February, rather than the previous opening date set for March 1st.\r\n\r\nWith the earlier opening, it will coincide with the Lunar New Year, a holiday that is important in the Far East, and Asian visitors are expected to be a driving factor for Resorts World Catskills. The casino will have a section catering to Asian players, featuring casino games that are popular in Asia as well as staff members who speak Mandarin.\r\n\r\nA recent job fair was held for the property at the Sullivan Event Center, with an estimated 1,000 individuals in attendance. As many as 2,220 employees are needed when future areas of the property are completed.\r\n\r\nIn a report at Recordonline.com, the Empire Resorts Executive Vice President, Charlie Degliomini, commented: “We’re opening early because we’re not a regional casino, we’re a destination resort-hotel-casino, and there’s worldwide anticipation for our opening. The Asian New Year falls in mid-February, so we didn’t want to miss that opportunity for our business.”\r\n\r\nThe project will have over 1,400 employment positions available with an expected 2,000 employees hired initially. Within the positions available, Empire Resorts are looking to hiring table game dealers, additional casino staff, employees for the hotel, spa employees, restaurants, bar, etc.\r\n\r\nMost of the features of the property will be open by mid-February, with a few exceptions, including the Italian style steakhouse by Scott Conant, a celebrity chef, as well as a few of the hotel suites. Since there will be areas that will open at a later date, Empire Resorts will continue to hire individuals as these areas come online.\r\n\r\nAdditional project plans will come into effect in 2018 and 2019. In next year’s fourth quarter, the property will be launching a mid-market hotel, two more dining venues and retail space. By early 2019, a family-friendly indoor water park and more hotel space will be opened by a separate company, EPR properties. A golf course will open at the property by the middle of 2019.

In Florida, the federally-recognized Seminole Tribe of Florida has reportedly initiated a legal action against the operators of eleven local restaurants, cafes and coffee shops amid allegations that these firms are illegally offering electronic gambling machines.\r\n\r\nAccording to a report from television broadcaster WTLV-TV, the lawsuit was filed with the Fourth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida in Jacksonville on December 6 and alleges that the defendants are running ‘electronic gambling parlors’ and that this infringes upon its own monopoly on offering such ‘casino-style’ games.\r\n\r\nThe Seminole Tribe of Florida operates a number of casinos across the southern state including the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tampa and the larger Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood and reportedly inked a deal with Florida officials in 2010 that gave it the exclusive rights to offer Class III gaming such as electronic gambling machines and slots.\r\n\r\nThe Jacksonville-based broadcaster reported that the lawsuit alleges that the Duval County defendants are contravening this agreement by owning, maintaining or managing venues that permit customers to electronically ‘engage in various forms of casino-style gambling whereby the patrons pay money in return for which they receive a chance to win greater sums of money as prizes’.\r\n\r\nTribal attorney Barry Richard reportedly told WTLV-TV that the defendants, which include Wild Plum Arcade, Lucky\'s Cyber Center and Big Chances Internet Café, are offering games that ‘you would play in a casino’.\r\n\r\n“They are typical slot-type games, spinning games or so-called \'fish games’ or card games,” Richard reportedly told the broadcaster. “The essential point is that the patron pays money for the chance to win more money.”\r\n\r\nAlongside the operators, the lawsuit from the Seminole Tribe of Florida moreover reportedly names 15 landlords as defendants for allowing their tenants to ‘knowingly permit such unlawful gambling to take place’.\r\n\r\n“These are very clear violations of Florida’s gambling laws and I have a high level of confidence that the [Seminole Tribe of Florida] is going to be successful,” Richard reportedly told WTLV-TV.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has announced that it will be holding a special event at its Harrisburg headquarters on the morning of January 10 in order to auction the first of ten new satellite casino licenses.\r\n\r\nThe state’s gambling regulator also revealed that the remaining nine ‘Category Four’ licenses are to be sold off via identical events to be held every two weeks until May 16 with the minimum bid amount for each site set at $7.5 million.\r\n\r\nThe Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board explained that this minimum tender amount will entitle the winning bidder to operate up to 750 slots while they can pay an additional $2.5 million in order to augment this offering with a maximum of 30 gaming tables, which may be increased by ten units to 40 after one year.\r\n\r\nThe Pennsylvania regulator declared that every auction will moreover see it reveal the specific location for that particular satellite casino while the entire process is to be open to all of the state’s existing licensed racetrack and casino operators although each is set to be initially permitted to hold only one of the ten new licenses.\r\n\r\n“A subsequent round will be held if all ten available licenses are not auctioned off,” read a statement from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. “Should this round of auctions occur, the two holders of ‘Category Three’ slot machine licenses could participate along with any ‘Category One’ or ‘Category Two’ license holders even if any of those holders have already won a ‘Category Four’ auction. This round of auctions must be completed by August 31, 2018.”\r\n\r\nThe new ‘Category Four’ licenses are a result of wide-ranging gaming legislation signed into law by Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf in October. Although not universally popular, the expansion is part of an effort to raise additional funds in order to help fill the state’s bulging $2.2 billion annual budget deficit and is expected to bring in upwards of $230 million a year in new revenues via taxes and licensing fees.
